There is one distinct disadvantage of websites over offices and shops, and that is you never get to meet your customers. It almost seems as though personal service no longer matters, well not until a wrongly delivered item appears on someone’s doorstep or, worse still, it fails to appear. It seems that customers are happy to accept the lack of personal contact presented by a website, until they need to get hold of you, and urgently.
Well while many just accept this as a plain ‘fact of life’ this situation can be turned round by those who want to stand out and who want to give the impression that they don’t want to hide behind the anonymity of a website and who want to get out and meet prospective customers, engage with them, and let them know they are important.
Here we are talking about news videos. That’s right, a website video you can also incorporate within a newsletter to existing customers on your mailing list, letting them know what a successful year you have had, how you have taken on more staff to meet with demand, and how 98% of all orders were delivered on time. This is all important information, but not everyone will want to read about you in another boring newsletter, but give them a short video to watch, and now you’re talking.
You only have to look at the stats to realise just how important video is to your business:
- 93% of marketers are using video in their campaigns
- 84% are using video for website marketing
- 60% are using video for email marketing
- 70% are optimizing video for search engines
- 70% will increase spend on video
- 82% confirmed that video had a positive impact on their business
Now you can’t really argue with that, can you? And where on that list do you see news and events? Well somebody is missing a trick because clearly consumers like watching videos.
Your next trick, perhaps with our help here at XFactor Presentations, is to make that video connect with the viewer. Simply delivering the news won’t work, but delivering it in a way that can get the viewer excited and interested in what has been happening is critical. The news can be used as an opportunity for promotion, but less blatantly than a standard promotional video.
Here at XFactor Presentations we like to use the experience we have gained over time to help you create something different, unusual and of greatest importance, effective. That also includes the script. We have a professional scriptwriter who can help you deliver your message in the best words possible, so you don’t have to worry about a thing. To find out more, just get in touch and we’ll talk you through the whole process and give you a clear indication of all that is involved.
